Thermal infrared image processing profiles for speech anxiety monitoring

This study relates to a method for analyzing speech anxiety by processing biosignals in real time. In the previous study, the effect of galvanic skin response feedback on performance in speech anxiety was determined. The present study is a method to process the speech anxiety state in real time, and this is done by processing the facial thermal image of the presenter in real time. The root mean square waveform that tracks facial temperature changes in real time can be used as a useful indicator for diagnosing speech anxiety. The visualization of the speech anxiety profile feedback with a facial thermal image can be a better cognitive therapeutic strategy in speech anxiety education.
