A method is proposed for calibrating microwave hygrometers with lower error in determining the difference between the true conversion function and the nominal calibration dependence attributed to a series of hygrometers. The proposed method can be used to extend the results of calibrating a single hygrometer with a natural sample of material to an entire series of hygrometers.
