Abstract

Methods of recording low-frequency electric and magnetic fields in an aqueous medium, generated by ships and other moving objects, are considered. The history of the development of instruments for measuring such fields is described, their characteristics are presented, and the main areas of development of future instruments for this type of measurement are determined.
