We are also very pleased to inform our readers that the journal had 267,799 downloads in 2017 calculated from downloads via SpringerLink. It had a 2-year impact factor of 1.745 and a 5-year impact factor of 1.713 as released in the Clarivate Analytics Journal Citation Reports (JCR) based on 2017 data. The impact factor is just one measure used for evaluating our journal. Based on Altmetric data, JSST received 6301 mentions in the journal lifetime, as compared to the average number for a Springer journal of 3315! These mentions include article coverage and discussions on the social web.
