Optimization of Optical Orientation and Electron Spin Transport in AlInGaAs/AlGaAs Superlattice

Abstract

Optimized photoemitter of polarized electrons is based on the strained AlInGaAs/AlGaAs superlattice grown by the MBE method. Electron emission from the developed photocathode demonstrates maximal polarization of 92% with quantum efficiency of 0.85%.
