Abstract

The lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) system is an important part of the experimental advanced superconducting tokamak (EAST). The reliability of the LHCD is the precondition and key point of stabilization of EAST experiments. In the complex electromagnetic environment, the reliability of signals transmission is particularly important. With the development of field programmable gate array technology, the paper presents a new method of photoelectric isolation. Experiments show that the method has a very good effect and also holds huge capacity.
