Syntheses and electronic behaviors of net-worked, alternating hafnium-organic moiety hybrid copolymers

Abstract

Hafnium-organic moiety hybrid copolymers were prepared by reacting hafnium n-butoxide with organic diols. ESR spectral examinations of copolymers and ab-initio calculations of copolymer models suggest that an electron transfer from organic group to hafnium atom takes place.
