Some contributions from Latin American career counselling for dealing with situations of psychosocial vulnerability

Abstract
Facing a working world more flexible, unstable and potentially generator of vulnerabilities, the career counselling has required contemporary approaches that meet these demands, which ones have been present in Latin America for a long time. Thus, the present paper aimed to analyse some Latin American proposals and highlight general principles to deal with the task of understanding and intervening in contexts of inequality where psychosocial vulnerability is generated. The main results pointed out that career counselling should be interdisciplinary and psychosocial with contextualized practices and social commitment, in addition to be integrated to public policies as well as to the communitarian and institutional initiatives.

Les contributions du conseil en orientation latino-américain pour gérer les situations de vulnérabilité psychosociale Dans un monde du travail instable susceptible de générer des vulnérabilités chez les travailleurs, le conseil en orientation a appliqué des approches contemporaines en Amérique latine afin de répondre aux demandes générées par cette situation sur le long terme. Dans cette étude, nous analysons les propositions latino-américaines, et soulignons les principes généraux qui permettent de comprendre et d’intervenir dans les contextes d’iniquité qui génèrent la vulnérabilité psychosociale. Nous concluons que le conseil de carrière devrait être interdisciplinaire et psychosocial, avec des pratiques contextualisées et un degré d’engagement social intégré dans les politiques publiques et les initiatives communales et institutionnelles.
Zusammenfassung
Lateinamerikanische Berufsberatungsbeiträge für den Umgang mit Situationen der psychosozialen Vulnerabilität Mit Blick auf eine instabile Arbeitswelt, welche potenziell Vulnerabilität bei Arbeitern erzeugt, hat die Berufsberatung zeitgenössische Ansätze in Lateinamerika angewandt, um diese Anforderungen für eine lange Zeit zu erfüllen. Dabei analysieren wir lateinamerikanische Vorschläge und arbeiten allgemeine Grundsätze heraus für den Umgang mit der Aufgabe in Kontexten der Ungleichheit wo psychosoziale Verletzlichkeit erzeugt wird zu verstehen und zu intervenieren,. Wir schlossen daraus, dass die Berufsberatung interdisziplinär und psychosozial mit kontextualisierter Praxis und sozialem Engagement in die öffentliche Politik, kommunalen sowie institutionellen Initiativen integriert werden sollte.
Resumen
Aportes de la Orientación Profesional en América Latina para abordar las situaciones de vulnerabilidad psicosocial Frente a un mundo laboral inestable que potencialmente genera vulnerabilidades en los trabajadores, la orientación profesional ha aplicado enfoques contemporáneos en América Latina para satisfacer estas demandas durante un largo periodo de tiempo. En este documento, se analizan las propuestas de América Latina y se destacan los principios generales para hacer frente a la tarea de comprender e intervenir en contextos de desigualdad donde se genera la vulnerabilidad psicosocial. Llegamos a la conclusión de que la orientación profesional debe ser interdisciplinaria y psicosocial con prácticas contextualizadas y compromiso social, integrada en las políticas públicas y las iniciativas comunitarias e institucionales.
