Abstract

In “Genetic Programming and Emergence” Banzhaf cogently demonstrates that emergence occurs constantly in genetic programming. I summarize the Emergence Test, which my colleagues and I introduced over a decade ago, which complements and substantiates Banzhaf’s views.
