Exact results of an anisotropic Ising-Heisenberg linear chain

Abstract

Exact results of the spin-1/2 doubly decorated Ising-Heisenberg linear chain in the presence of an external magnetic field are derived on the basis of the extended decoration-iteration transformation. New results resulting from the competition of the anisotropy, magnetic field and temperature are obtained and discussed.
