Inverse Scattering Problem in Anisotropic Media

  • Gregory Eskin

Abstract:

A new family of scattering invariants is constructed that differs from the scattering invariants obtained by the geometric optics approximations. A local uniqueness (modulo a diffeomorphism) of the metric with a given hodograph function is proven under some restrictions on the curvature of the metric.
