Indikation und Ergebnisse mit TVT (tension-free vaginal tape) bei weiblicher Stressinkontinenz

Zusammenfassung

Während die Blasenhalssuspension über Jahre hinweg als „golden standard“ in der Therapie der weiblichen Stressharninkontinenz galt, scheint nun das TVT-Verfahren innerhalb kurzer Zeit eine extreme Akzeptanz gefunden zu haben. Dieses völlig neue Behandlungskonzept kommt v.a.im Bereich der gynäkologischen Harninkontinenztherapie zur Anwendung. Kaum ein anderes operatives Verfahren hat in nur so kurzer Zeit eine derartige Verbreitung gefunden. Wie ist das erklärbar?
