Abstract.
Catheter ablation for ventricular fibrillation in structurally normal hearts is in its infancy. Recently, catheter ablation of idiopathic ventricular fibrillation as well as ventricular fibrillation associated with the long QT and Brugada syndromes has been described. This review article is a summary of our current understanding of the technique and results of catheter ablation of ventricular fibrillation in structurally normal hearts.

Zusammenfassung.
Die Katheterablation von Kammerflimmern bei Patienten mit strukturell normalem Herzen befindet sich noch in ihren Anfängen. In jüngster Vergangenheit wurde die Katheterablation von idiopathischem Kammerflimmern wie von Kammerflimmern, das mit einem langen QT-Syndrom assoziiert ist, beschrieben. Dieser Übersichtsartikel ist eine Zusammenfassung unseres derzeitigen Verständnisses über die Technik wie die Ergebnisse der Katheterablation von Kammerflimmern bei Patienten mit strukturell normalem Herzen.
