The Effect of Solar Energy on Pressure of Gas Cylinder

Abstract

Document clarifying the necessity of protection of cylinders against natural heat sources if stored outdoor under climatic conditions of Hungary. It is based on a preliminary study for the revision of Hungarian Standard MSZ 6292:81. Topics covered include: estimation of temperature changes caused by solar energy; pressure changes caused by temperature increases; measurement of pressure changes caused by solar energy.
