Physically accurate virtual design of coatings

Abstract

Up to now, computer-aided simulation and visualisation of coatings for optimising communication and production processes played only a minor role in the coatings and pigment industry. The reason was that no software system existed that enabled the precise simulation and visualisation of the physical composition of coatings.
