The effect of road-excited vibrations on the load spectrum, the required space and the ride comfort

During vehicle development, results from computer simulations must be available in an early phase of the product development process in order to identify possible risks and to initiate appropriate improvement measures. This paper shows how — on the basis of multi-body systems — results from road-excited vibration simulations are integrated in the product development at Magna Steyr.
