Abstract

New developments in the automotive industry are often aimed at increasing the complexity of components and achieving a higher density of functions. This means that suppliers are faced with constantly new challenges, especially with regard to cost-efficient production. Findings from tool research, such as those obtained by GFE Schmalkalden, can offer a solution.
