Martin Rein is associate professor of social work at Bryn Mawr College. He has served as consultant on a number of studies of poverty, youth employment, and community welfare services, and written many articles on community welfare and social change. Currently he is working on a study of social planning and institutional change, and preparing a book with S. M. Miller.
