The 15th Conference of the Entomological Society of Israel was dedicated to the memory of the late Dr. Shoshana Yathom; the abstracts were not published.

The late Prof. E. Rivnay (1899–1972) published in the years 1933–35 the results of his biological and ecological studies of Heliothrips haemorrhoidalis, and in 1939 of Retithrips syricacus.
