Summary

We have fitted the differential cross-section data for pp annihilations to ππ+ and KK+ with a model consisting of resonances together with a constituent interchange model background. We find strong evidence for meson resonances of mass 2.11, 2.3 and 2.48 GeV/c2 with spins of 3, 4 and 5 respectively. We also have weaker evidence for a J=2 resonance near threshold. Together with the ρ′(1600) these resonances from a « granddaughter » Regge trajectory approximately two units of angular momentum below ther> A2 trajectory.
