Chinook: A new high quality potato variety resistant to common scab

Summary

Chinook is a slightly russetted, mid-season potato variety that is highly resistant to common scab. It was selected for its adaptability to the irrigated areas of alberta and Saskatchewan. It produces moderate yields of attractive tubers of high dry matter content and excellent cooking and French frying quality. It also makes satisfactory chips.
