Remarks on Coulomb effects in multiple-scattering theories

Summary

We investigate the problem of introducing the Coulomb potential in Watson’s multiple-scattering expansion: in particular we formally analyse the implications for the optical potential and discuss various approximations necessary in order to make practical calculations.

Мы исследуем проблему введения кулоновского потенциала в разложение Ватсона для многократного рассеяния: в частности мы анализируем применение оптического потенциала и обсуждаем различные приближения, используемые при проведении практических вычислений.

Riassunto

Si studia il problema dell’introduzione del potenziale coulombiano nello sviluppo di diffusione multipla di Watson: in particolare si formalizzano le implicazioni per il potenziale ottico e si discutono varie approssimazioni necessarie per fare delle valutazioni numeriche.
