Summary

Antineutrons have been produced by the charge exchange of antiprotons in an emulsion stack and their annihilations observed in the same stack. The cross-section for production is estimated to be (17±6) mb for antiprotons at a mean energy of 125 MeV. The mean multiplicity, the mean energy of the secondary mesons, and the star sizes of the annihilations of antineutrons, are very similar to those for antiprotons.
