Sulla disintegrazione di un mesone in uno stato legato

Riassunto

Si studia la disintegrazione di un mesone pseudoscalare in un livello atomico (particolarmente nel livelloK) e lo spettro degli elettroni emessi in tale processo: quest'ultimo si presenta estremamente stretto e la sua larghezza è funzione crescente del numero atomico.

Summary

The decay of a PS-meson in an atomic meson-shell and the spectrum of the electrons emitted in such a process are studied. Particularly we take into account the decay in aK meson-shell. The width of the spectral line is an increasing function of the atomic numberZ. Numerical results forZ=6 are summarized at the end of this paper.
