Conclusions

  1. 1.

The experience of designing, constructing, and operating the Zagorsk PSS confirmed the correctness of the decisions made earlier about constructing a series of large PSSs in the country, their technical need and economic expediency.

  2. 2.

When examining the question of constructing new PSSs, it is advisable to take the same main equipment as at the Zagorsk PSS as the basis. This will make it possible at all stages of creating a new PSS to considerably reduce material and financial expenditures and to shorten construction time.
