Abstract

The briquetting process of high-alumina mixtures is studied with the aim of diminishing the moisture content of the briquets, improving their quality, and reducing the energy consumption. A design of a roll press for briquetting mixtures with a diminished moisture content is suggested. The press has successfully passed shop tests.
