Proximate order and type of entire functions of several complex variables

We introduce the notion of proximate order for entire functions with indexpair (p,q), for integersp andq such that 1≤qp to study the type of entire functions of several complex variables. One of our main results is a generalization of a theorem due to Lelong-Gruman in their book [7] on Entire Functions of Several Complex Variables.
