Abstract

Refined kinetic equations for titanium electrode are derived; the surface coverage with adsorbed hydrogen is taken into account. Experimental data for titanium and its alloys with yttrium, lanthanum and cerium are shown to agree well with the theory. The kinetic effects of the alloying are traced.
