Advanced heat-insulating materials based on mineral fibers

Results of studies devoted to the development of lightweight, ecologically pure, incombustible heat-and-sound-insulating materials based on mineral fibers and an inorganic binder obtained by the method of filtration sedimentation with simultaneous partial pressing and subsequent drying are presented. The behavior of the materials under a one-sided high-temperature action is considered, and the main characteristics of the developed methods are described.
