Zusammenfassung
Epitheliale Tumoren des Dickdarmes weisen eine hohe Inzidenz für die Entstehung eines Dickdarmkarzinoms auf. Die Adenom-Karzinom-Sequenz und das Malignitätsrisko hängen einerseis von der Größe, andererseits von der histologischen Klassifizierung der Kolonpolypen ab. Die endoskopische Polyperktomie bietet lie einzige Möglichkeit einer Aussage über die Dignität der Dickdarmpolypen und stellt eine Karzinomprophylaxe dar.
Summary
Epithelial neoplastic polyps of the large intestine have the incident potential, to become a colorectal carcinoma. The adenoma-carcinoma-sequence and the risk of producing a malignant tumor depend on the adenoma-size and on the histological type. Only the endoscopic polypectomy offers the possibility to identify the dignity of the polyp and also to prevent the formation of large bowel carcinoma.
