Equipment and operating methods of varnish driers for wood industry and their technological requirements
Summary
The physical conditions of varnish drying and the equipment and operating methods of varnish driers are discussed. Furtheron the paper deals with the varnish drying control and he testing instruments used for it. In order to yield a satifactory result the varnish driers must answer the followingsrequirements: they must maintain a specified climate, thus keeping a certain equilibrium moisture content in the wood and guarantee a regular drying on all sides of the object. By right adjustment to the kind and the thickness of varnish the drying time can be reduced to only a few hours.
