Die Relaxatio diaphragmatica beim Neugeborenen und Kleinkind

Zusammenfassung

An Hand von 8 eigenen Fällen wird die Problematik der Relaxatio diaphragmatica besprochen. Die Ursache war 4mal eine geburtstraumatische, 2mal eine iatrogene Phrenikusparese und 1mal eine angeborene Muskelhypoplasie des Zwerchfells. 4 Kinder konnten konservativ behandelt werden, 4 Neugeborene mußten wegen Entwicklung eines schweren Atemnotsyndroms operiert werden.

Summary

8 cases of diaphragmatic eventration are recorded. 4 cases were caused by birth trauma, 2 by iatrogenic paralysis of the phrenic nerve and 1 by a congenital hypoplasia of the diaghragma. Non-surgical treatment could be applied to 4 children. 4 new-born children had to be operated because of the development of a severe respiratory distress syndrome.
