Summary

In an attempt to interrelate the multiple parameters that contribute in determining the geomechanical behaviour of a granite rock at a gravity dam site in Sardinia, Italy, the structural conditions have been distinguished in situ and the different types of fractures have been studied on cores from geognostic boreholes by means of fracturation parameters used so far. The mechanical properties of numerous specimens systematically sampled from the cores have been tested in the laboratory. The different data obtained have been elaborated with the factor analysis in the R- and Q-modes; thus the relationships between the structural conditions on macroscopic scales have been put in evidence and the geomechanical characteristics of the geologic body at the dam site have been indicated.

Résumé

Dans une essai de corrélation des multiples paramètres qui contribuent à determiner le comportement géomecanique du rocher granitique assai d'un barrage gravité en Sardaigne, Italie, on a individualisé les conditions géostructurales in situ et on a étudié le différents types de fractures par les parametres de fracturation utilisés jusqu'à présent. Les propriétés mécaniques de plusieurs échantillons prélevés systématiquement carottes des forages géognostiques ont été déterminées en laboratoire. Les différentes données obtenues ont été élaborées par l'analyse factorielle en mode R. et Q. Ainsi in a mis en évidence la relation entre les conditions géostructurales à l'échelle macroscopique et mésoscopique et on a indiqué les caractéristiques géomécaniques du corps géologiques dans la section du barrage.
