Two row switching regimes in two-dimensional Nb-Pb Josephson-junction array

Abstract

A crossover in the two-dimensional Nb-Pb Josephson-junction array from the coherent phase slip line regime to quasiparticle row switching regime has been observed as temperature decreased. The boundary between these regimes corresponds to the temperature when the fluxon mass vanishes (β c ≃ 35)
