Abstract
If G is a group then the set P(G) of subsets of G with habitual law composition, order and involution is an involutive semigroup. In this case elements wich have a certain algebraic property are left or right cosets. We show that algebraic conception of cosets can be generalized to any involuted semigroup and apply our essential results to two other classical involuted semigroups, namely the involuted semigroup of subsets of a groupoïd and binary relations of a set.
