AutoPLANT97—A unique designing tool

Abstract

In the spring of 1999, Autodesk Inc. released the year-2000 version of AutoCAD. The new AutoCAD version received high user acclaim all over the world. The new technology used by Autodesk has opened up wide opportunities for developers, who create professional applications using AutoCAD as the graphic core for their programs. The package of programs integrated by Rebis under the name AutoPLANT97 is a vivid example of professionally oriented software in which the graphic core is AutoCAD that combines within itself new potentials of computer technologies, elements of artificial intelligence, and experience of engineering solutions in various branches of the industry.
