Rapid gas chromatographic analysis of aromatics in a cracked fraction, IBP-170°C

A gas chromatographic method using 1,2,3,4,5,6-hexakis (β-cyanoethoxy)hexane (HKH) stationary phase has been suggested for rapid analysis of aromatics in cracked petroleum fraction boiling up to 170°C. Selection of column and chromatographic conditions are based on polarity index and adsorption phenomenon on gas-liquid interface.
