Italian multicenter study of dementia: a pathologically verified case of Alzheimer disease

Abstract

The pathological findings in a case included in the Italian multicenter study of dementia on clinical grounds are reported. The histological and ultrastructural examination confirms the diagnosis of Alzheimer disease, evidence for the validity of the clinical protocol.

Viene descritto lo studio neuropatologico di un caso incluso nello Studio Multicentrico Italiano sulla Demenza sulla base di dati clinici. L'esame istologico ed ultrastrutturale conferma la diagnosi di malattia di Alzheimer avvalorando quindi il protocollo clinico.
