Selection of structural shapes for crankshafts from assigned bending stiffness

Abstract

Regression models describing the influence exerted by a change in the structural parameters of a crankshaft on its flexure are obtained. The region of rational ratios of basic shaft parameters is constructed for an assigned stiffness with allowance for weight constraints.
