Kurze Mitteilungen

Summary

The Biancone limestone (Uppermost Jurassic-? Barremian) from southern Ticino, and the small organisms (Nannoconi incertae sedis) of which it mainly consists, have been examined in the electron microscope.

The applied technique of preparing the limestone for investigation is described.

Furthermore, a few remarks are made concerning the stratigraphic value of Nannoconus.
