Abstract
We propose a method of determining one-dimensional temperature fields in a multilayer cylinder corresponding to asymptotic thermal mode. We give the temperature distribution when the temperature of the surrounding medium varies polynomially and harmonically with time and with a heat source density concentrated on one of the interfaces of adjacent layers.
