Zusammenfassung

Vorgestellt wird ein Programm für Personalcomputer, das die Vorhersage orthodontischer Zahnbewegungen ermöglicht. Die Stellungsveränderungen von Frontzähnen, die durch verschiedenste Momente und Kräfte hervorgerufen werden, erscheinen als dreidimensionale Graphik und als filmartiger Bewegungsablauf auf dem Monitor.

Summary

A personal computer programme is presented which allows the prediction of orthodontic tooth movement under the influence of any given force and moment. The changes in position of the front teeth caused by the chosen forces appear on the monitor as a three-dimensional diagram and as a movie-like picturesequence.
