Zusammenfassung

Die visköse Metamorphose der Blutplättchen ist ein von der Fibrinbildung unabhängiger Prozess, der durch Thrombin und einen thermostabilen, dialysierbaren Faktor aus Plasma oder Serum ausgelöst wird. Das unter diesen Bedingungen aus den zerfallenden Plättchen austretende Material kontrahiert sich spontan. Dies erklärt die Gerinnselretraktion, bei der dem Fibrin folglich eine völlig passive Rolle zukommt.
