Zusammenfassung
Die Ergebnisse der beschriebenen Lactose-Untersuchungen lassen den Schluß zu, daß die Inhalation von feinem Staub eine sonst als Folge einer Antigen-Provokation auftretende Resistance-Erhöhung verhindern kann.
Die Frage, warum feiner Lactose-Staub eine solche protektive Wirkung entfalten kann bzw. ob sich unsere Ergebnisse auch bei einem größeren Kollektiv reproduzieren lassen, muß vorerst offen bleiben.
The influence of pre-inhalation of atomised lactose dust upon the inhalative provocation test
Abstract
The results of the described investigations show that the pre-inhalation of atomised lactose dust can prevent the rise of airway resistance usually following the inhalation of certain antigens.
The causes of this phenomenon and the question of its universality are yet to be determined.
