Mechanism of palladation of aromatic compounds in HOAc

Abstract

The products, kinetics and isotope effects of oxidative coupling of ArH into diaryls by Pd(OAc)2 in HOAc+HClO4 have been studied. The mechanism of ArH palladation is discussed.
