Abstract

A quantitative analysis of the products of cumyl hydroperoxide decomposition (thermal and redox) in heptane and benzene in the temperature range of 30–155°C is used to study the kinetics of the induced reaction due to the abstraction of hydroperoxy hydrogen atoms by cumyloxy radicals.
