Effect of vitamin A deficiency on the levels of glutathione and glutathione-S-transferase activity in rat lung and liver

Summary

Vitamin A deficiency reduces the content of glutathione in liver and lung. Also, glutathione S-transferase activity is decreased significantly in the lung, whereas its activity is increased in the liver.
