Seasonal trend of the rooting success of cuttings of cacao clones in Nigeria and the relation with establishment ability

  • H. Toxopeus
Article

Summary

Cacao clones have different patterns of rooting success of cuttings in the course of a year. The correlation coefficient between rooting success during the dry season and establishment ability of 18 Trinitario clones was 0.82. Nursery experience indicates that Upper Amazon clones do not show this relation.
