Biomechanical studies of thoraco-lumbar fractures

Résumé

Nous rapportons les différentes théories biomécaniques des fractures du rachis qui ont abouti dans les années 80 à une conception à 3 colonnes. Celle proposée par Denis a retenu notre attention et est la plus communément utilisée pour classer les lésions traumatiques du rachis thoracolombaire.

Summary

We report the different biomechanical studies of thoracolumbar fractures. Since 1980 the 3 column concept has been accepted by a lot of surgeons. We use the Denis classification to classify and treat spinal trauma.
