Interpolation between Slater's and Kohn-Sham's exchange approximations

Abstract

An interpolation scheme between Slater's and Kohn-Sham's exchange approximations is proposed. This scheme gives the orbitals for atomic Cu+ and Zn close to those of the Hartree-Fock method.
